Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 19, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Tendo Studio (“Tendo Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information you provide through our onboarding form and related pages (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not submit information through the form.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Service from prospective clients, leads, and visitors located in the United States. It supplements, and does not replace, any contract you sign with us.

3. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact data you submit: name, email address, phone number, company name, and website URL.
  • Project information you choose to share: budget range, timeline, goals, project context, and free-text answers to form questions.
  • Technical data automatically collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers when you load the Service: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and request timestamps, used for security, abuse prevention, and basic operation of the site.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, financial account numbers, health information, or information about children under 16). Please do not submit such information through the form.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and follow up about a potential engagement;
  • Prepare proposals, estimates, and scopes of work;
  • Schedule and conduct intro calls;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Service, including preventing fraud and abuse;
  • Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under US state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA).

We disclose personal information only to:

  • Service providers / processors that host our infrastructure, database, email, and scheduling tools, under contracts that restrict their use of the data to providing services to us;
  • Legal and safety recipients, where required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tendo Studio, our users, or the public;
  • Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

6. Cookies and tracking

The Service uses only strictly necessary, first-party storage required to operate the form (for example, to maintain your in-progress answers and authenticate admin users). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on this site.

7. Data retention

We retain submitted form data for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue a potential engagement and, where applicable, for the duration of our business relationship, plus a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You may request earlier deletion as described below.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, server-side input validation, and least-privilege access to our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your US privacy rights

Depending on the US state in which you reside (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
  • Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Portability — receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of certain profiling — we do not engage in any of these activities, so there is nothing to opt out of;
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

To submit a request, email privacy@tendo.studio with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your request using the contact information you provided and respond within the timeframe required by your state’s law (generally 45 days, extendable once where permitted). You may also use an authorized agent; we may require written authorization and identity verification.

California “Shine the Light”: California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our site does not use cross-site tracking, so “Do Not Track” browser signals and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals do not change what we collect. We honor opt-out preference signals to the extent required by applicable law.

11. Children

The Service is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International users

The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you access it from outside the US, you acknowledge that your information will be processed in the US, which may have data protection laws different from your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
